Maintenance’s key objective is to increase uptime without over-doing maintenance and the challenge lies in how to determine the right mix of Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance. Many organizations also find themselves struggling to put in place an effective Maintenance regime to improve equipment integrity.

The concept of Preventive and Predictive maintenance is extensively known and the potential benefits are widely accepted, but still, many maintenance practitioners have failed to successfully take advantage of the techniques and technology. By mastering techniques like the PF-Curve and Statistical Analysis and the latest condition monitoring techniques, participants will be able to prevent avoidable equipment failures and associated production losses and finally break the reactive maintenance cycle.

Salvo Global’s 3-day intensive Masterclass on “Advanced Preventive & Predictive Maintenance” is a practical “How-to-Do-it Guide” for implementing, measuring results and successfully applying today’s best practices for Preventive (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) through Total Productive Maintenance. In addition, delegates will be introduced to strategies that will enhance and improve PM & PdM.

L’objectif principal de la session donc  est d’augmenter le temps de service donc de production, sans plus de maintenance. Le concept d’entretien préventif et prédictif est largement connu et leurs avantages potentiels sont largement acceptés, néanmoins, de nombreux praticiens de l’entretien n’ont pas réussi à tirer profit des techniques et de la technologie. En maîtrisant des techniques comme la courbe de performance et de dégradation (PF-Curve), l’Analyse Statistique, et les dernières techniques de surveillance de l’état, les participants seront en mesure de prévenir les pannes d’équipement évitables, les pertes de production associées, et enfin de briser le cycle de maintenance réactive.

Le cours intensif de 3 jours «De Maitre de Maintenance Préventive et prédictive » de Salvo Global est un « guide de savoir-faire »  pratique sur la façon de faire, de mesurer les résultats, et d’appliquer avec succès les meilleures techniques actuelles en matière de maintenance préventive et prédictive dans le cadre du programme de l’entretien productif total. The trainer is a licensed reliability training specialist under the American Society for Quality Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) with over 29 years’ industrial field and classroom experience in Operations Technology, engineering reliability analysis and implementation within power generation, food processing, rotating equipment; heavy duty industries, hydraulic pumps and valves. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering majored in Materials Science and Engineering Reliability, Failure Analysis from University of Ottawa.

His expertise includes analysing failure patterns for industrial assets and defining failure mode effects and mechanism and criticality analysis (FMECA). He uses the Plan Wellness Way (PWW) Physics of Failures Factors Analysis strategy management (POFFA) model to identify critical components and bad sectors. He is also adept in developing management programs for operation, production, maintenance and design, and improvement and cost reduction programs.

He has designed and developed training curriculums and contents to address identified skill gaps that hinder operations and processes benefits and timely deliveries. Based on reliability modelling and prediction, reliability design, testing and reliability management tools, he analysed, applied and documented tools and techniques including failure analysis, risk assessment and ranking, root cause analysis, failure modes effect and criticality analysis and HAZOP.

The trainer is passionate about reliability and continuous improvement, and committed in fostering PWW/LRS (Plant Wellness Way/ Lifetime Reliability Solutions) through failure elimination, reliability excellence, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Preventive, Predictive maintenance, CBM, and RCM strategies. His training helped many industrial organizations to save great money and time as their people became aware and advised to take ownership and perform value-creating operation and repair decisions, accurate testing, data collection, and analysis, failures elimination strategies.

L’entraîneur est un spécialiste agréé pour la formation en fiabilité de l’American Society of Quality avec plus de 29 ans d’expérience de travail et de formation en milieux  industriels et en  salle de classe, dans les domaines de : Technologie des opérations, Analyse de la fiabilité en ingénierie. Son expérience étendue est basée sur la production d’énergie, les équipements rotatifs; les industries lourdes, les pompes hydrauliques et les vannes, la recherche et développement en science et technologie des matériaux. L’entraîneur détient une maîtrise en génie mécanique spécialisée en science des matériaux et fiabilité en génie, analyse de défaillances de l’Université d’Ottawa.

Son expertise comprend l’analyse des modèles des défaillances pour les équipements et biens industriels, la définition des effets de mode de défaillance, ainsi que l’analyse des mécanismes et de la criticité (FMECA). Il utilise de l’analyse des facteurs par la physique des défaillances (POFFA) du modèle PWW (Plant Wellness Way), pour identifier les composants critiques et les secteurs défectueux. Il est également habile à élaborer des programmes de gestion pour l’exploitation, la production, la maintenance et la conception, ainsi que des programmes d’amélioration continue, et de réduction des coûts.

Il a conçu et élaboré des programmes et des contenus de formation pour combler les lacunes identifiées de qui entravent les opérations, réduisent les bénéfices et les livraisons à temps optimal. Il a analysé, appliqué et documenté des outils et des techniques comprenant l’analyse des défaillances, l’évaluation et la classification des risques, l’analyse des causes profondes, l’analyse des effets des modes de défaillances.

You will be required to provide details such as your Name, Organisation, Corporate E-mail Address, Contact Number, and Country of Origin.

The exact hotel location will be made known to all delegates privately approximately 1 month prior to the commencement date. We do have preferential corporate rates at the event hotels. Interested parties may inquire at marketing@salvoglobal.com or request for the event brochure. Delegates who have confirmed their participation with us will be contacted by our team as soon as a venue is finalised. Usually, we hold all our events in 5 star hotels based in the city centre.

Salvo typically provides a 10% discount from the original investment fee per delegate should a company send 3 or more delegates to attend the course. Specific discounts may differ for respective programs so please email marketing@salvoglobal.com for further confirmation on the exact discount.

Aside from the group discount mentioned above, Salvo offers a special Early Bird Discount once a new event is released. However, delegates must register as soon as possible since the special rate will only be available for a limited time.

The Investment Fee will cover all the course documents and materials that will be used during the training, as well as luncheons and coffee breaks during the training program. The Investment Fee does not cover the travel and accommodation expenses of the delegates, however, we can assist you by providing details on the estimated cost for both. The Investment Fee is also exclusive of tax. Taxes are to be borne by the delegate’s organisation.

Once you receive a copy of the event brochure, complete the registration form which is located on the last page and send it back to us. Upon receipt of the completed registration form with authorization, we will proceed to block the seat(s) on our system for your organization. Thereafter, the invoice will be sent out by our Finance team for processing of payment.

Your payment can be made via Telegraphic Transfer or via Credit Cards through American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Diners. Bank charges and local withholding tax are to be borne by the registrant.

Full payment should be made within TEN (10) WORKING DAYS upon receipt of invoice.

Aside from the knowledge that our expert trainers are imparting, a Certificate of Completion will be issued to all delegates completing a minimum of 90% of the total hours of the course. Some of our events offer takeaways and free consultation after the course. It varies from programs to programs.

You will receive a pre-course questionnaire upon successful registration. Kindly state your specific concerns and issues on this questionnaire and send it back to us, as this will be consolidated and forwarded to the trainer during the formulation of the course agenda. Alternatively, you can also email us at marketing@salvoglobal.com regarding your concern so we can be in touch to ensure that your concerns is addressed asap.

The registration form carries at least a 50% cancellation liability 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of the event after a signed sales resignation contract has been received by Salvo. If we are notified less than 2 weeks prior to the commencement date of the event, full cancellation fees is applicable.
