Drilling String Design

The drilling string design is a unique course serves the oil industry discussing all factors that influence on the drill string during the operation. The participant will learn drill pipe grade and limitation for torque and tension, the same for drill collars tensional stress, he will be able to perform a proper design eliminating the problems and saving the operations consequently optimizing the drilling cost.

Participants will be acquainted with the problems of string vibrations and how to solve these problems. He will perform a sting design for directional drilling and chose the best BHA solving all problems encounter. This course discussing all the challenges for drill string design and how oil industry provided the solutions, this course will provide several examples to the participants and train them to estimate the torque and drag.
