Advanced Project Cost Engineering

Salvo Global’s Cost Engineering course will provide attendees with the skill and knowledge to control costs in their projects. Participants will learn the fundamentals of cost estimating, cost control, and planning. It is recognized that improving cost engineering capabilities within the industry contributes to the development of any project.

This course is in alignment with PMI PMBOK and AACE Standards. It will provide participants with a thorough background in the concepts of total cost management and cost engineering. It covers the application of cost engineering and cost management principles, proven methodologies in support of the management process.

This course covers all areas of knowledge and its concepts in the field of cost engineering and estimation, as required to attain the professional certifications CCP/CEP (Certified Estimating Professional) offered by AACE international.

The trainer has over 25 years of professional experience in Project Management in different parts of the world. He is the Lead Author and Core Team Member… (2nd and 3rd latest Ed.) PMI Practice Standard for Earned Value Management. He is a reviewer of EVM ISO21508 and Lead author of ISO EVM Implementation Guide (under development), reviewer and contributor of GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide (latest update), and founding President of the PMI Portugal Chapter and AACE Portugal Section (present).
